From October 7-9 2025 the 4th edition of the GMP for ATMP Summer School will take place at the Science Park University of Antwerp. This year again, 40 students will be able to join this unique training programme, covering both theory and practice. In doing so, at.las is responding to the rapidly growing demand for specialised profiles in today’s labour market.
The summer school prepares the next generation of staff for GMP labs, immersing them in the world of GMP and the guidelines around ATMP. They gain a deeper understanding of the different steps in the process, quality systems and monitoring, with a special focus on the importance of working aseptically. The programme includes theory, exercises and a full practical day in ViTalent’s unique cleanroom facilities.
After attending this programme, students will know what a job in a GMP environment entails and what to expect. This also allows them to evaluate for themselves whether they are the right person for this type of challenging job.
For this training programme, at.las can rely on experts with hands-on experience from Advipro, anicells, eyetec, eTheRNA, MyCellHub, TRU Clean, ViTalent and the expertise of the University of Antwerp, among others. This professional and practice-oriented programme receives support from the Province of Antwerp, POM Antwerp and Co-valent, the training fund for chemistry, plastics and life sciences in Flanders.
