Within the CCRG, the University of Antwerp and the UZA collaborate on the development of immunotherapies. These are treatments that wake up the immune system and makes the body stronger in its fight against cancer. Since 2005, they started with the administration of the first safe experimental therapy to patients with different types of cancers resulting in increased chances of survival.
